At Sukin our tagline and focus are simple. Skincare that doesn’t cost the earthTM isn’t merely a commitment to affordable products, but also to the creation of beautiful skincare at minimal cost to our precious environment.

How do we achieve this? By thinking and acting sustainably wherever possible. This means achieving carbon neutral status by offsetting all of our emissions from product manufacture to office operations.

Whilst bottles and boxes and packets can certainly be attractive, the less attractive side is that they can end up contributing to land fill.  Sukin uses recyclable packaging, and ensures that packaging is kept to a minimum where possible.

Sukin’s ‘no nasties’ approach helps to keep both our bodies and our environment healthy. Without the inclusion of harsh detergents, petro-chemicals, sulphates and more, Sukin formulations are grey water safe, so you can feel confident that what you are using is not going to damage our rivers, animals and plant life once it heads down the drain. Using plant based ingredients, Sukin formulations are also biodegradable, avoiding build up and contamination in our waterways.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to the source of our ingredients. Where we have to use Palm Oil derivatives, we ensure that we source from suppliers who are members of the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), and where possible purchase from sustainable sources.

As a 100% vegan brand, Sukin is committed to creating products that are free from animal testing, animal derivatives, and animal by-products.
